VERITY IS UP TO THE CHALLENGE OF TIGHT DISCOVERY DEADLINES

A Verity client, a fortune 100 international communications corporation, needed a managed review of 500,000 documents or 182 gigabytes of ESI reviewed, marked for privilege, redacted and produced to opposing counsel within a court ordered 20-day deadline. Within hours, our project managers and IT specialists culled down the document universe to under 50,000 documents or 45.5 gigabytes of data, following de-duplication, D-Nisting and keyword search. Meanwhile, our managed review team had already begun its vetting of document review lawyers with extensive experience in responsive and privilege reviews, redacting, navigating the particular software platform the client wanted, with quality control work.

The managed review team quickly assembled fifteen highly experienced attorneys within 72 hours of the client’s first call to Verity. Verity was able to produce documents to opposing counsel within the allotted time under great time constraints and with a very satisfied client.

In a large intellectual property case, plaintiff sued several co-defendants who shared a need to view plaintiff’s produced discovery. Our project management team created a single workspace so that all co-defendants shared one universe of documents, but with different workflows. Per each client’s individual request, Verity tailored views, fields and layouts specifically for each co-defendant.

Not only did each co-defendant save on expense from sharing a workspace, but their work could be done separately if they so wished, protecting the confidentiality of their attorney work product and their client’s confidential documentation, such as ANDA.
